Imana Insurance Agency Kenya Ltd turns six on 1 November 2026. Founded in November 2020 and based at Krishna Centre in Westlands, Nairobi, Imana is an insurance intermediary that helps individuals, families and businesses in Kenya compare cover from leading insurers, buy the right policy and get support when they need to make a claim.
Six years ago we started with a simple belief: insurance in Kenya should be easy to understand, easy to buy and, most importantly, there for you when something goes wrong. Today we want to say thank you to everyone who has trusted us along the way, and share what we have built together.

Where it all started: November 2020
Imana Insurance Agency Kenya Ltd opened in November 2020, in a year when many Kenyan families and businesses were thinking hard about protection. Our founder, Raymond Momanyi, had spent years working with some of Kenya's leading insurers. He saw the same problem again and again: people wanted cover, but the process felt confusing, and too many felt alone at claim time.
That is where our tagline comes from. Diskava Beta Kava means discover better cover. It is a promise to help every client find cover that fits their life and their budget, explained in plain language.
Over six years we have grown from a small team in Westlands into a trusted agency serving clients across Kenya, both in person and online through imana.co.ke and imanainsurance.com.
What Imana offers today
Six years in, Imana arranges insurance for both households and businesses through partner insurers including CIC, Britam, APA, Old Mutual, Sanlam Allianz, Pioneer, Fidelity, Pacis and NCBA.
For you and your family, we arrange motor and PSV insurance, motorcycle cover, medical insurance (inpatient and outpatient), life and education plans, travel insurance, and home and domestic insurance.
For your business, we arrange group medical cover for employees, property and asset insurance, liability and legal cover (including Directors and Officers liability), fleet and marine insurance, insurance bonds, cyber insurance and WIBA (Work Injury Benefits Act) cover.
Whether you are insuring your first car or a fleet of fifty, the starting point is the same: we listen first, then compare options for you.
How we help: compare, buy, claim
What makes an agency useful is not the policy document. It is the help around it. Here is how we work with clients:

- Buy with confidence. We explain what is covered and what is not, in plain language, and help you choose the option that fits.
- Renew on time. We remind you before your cover expires, so you are not caught uninsured.
- Claim with support. When something goes wrong, we help you report the claim and follow up with the insurer. This year we also opened free claims support to people who did not buy their cover through us. Anyone in Kenya can submit a claim request at imana.co.ke/claims-request and our team will help them follow it up with their insurer.
